BIO: If the current stars of the FWA want to know who paved the way for their success, one of the first people they should be looking to thank is Jody Fleisch. The former two-time British Heavyweight Champion was at the heart of many of the promotion's most memorable moments in the early part of this decade, becoming one of the most successful stars the UK has produced. Fleisch has gone on to star in some of the greatest wrestling promotions on the planet including Ring of Honor and Combat Zone Wrestling.

In August 2009, seven years after the legendary moonsault that earned him championship gold at British Uprising, the Phoenix returned to the FWA hoping to rise from the ashes and recreate his previous glory by qualifying for the FWA Flyweight Title Round Robin. On that night he was unsuccessful despite an impressive performance that proved he had lost none of his old magic. Fans around the country will surely be hoping that the match at New Frontiers was not a one-off, because if Fleisch decides to make a more permanent return then he could surely produce just as many unforgettable scenes in the new FWA as he did in the old.
